The Unstoppable Force of Common Sense in an Age of Illusion

In an era dominated by relentless political narratives, institutional spin, and ubiquitous media noise, objective truth often feels like an endangered commodity.

Propaganda relies on distortion—on crafting fabricated narratives designed to serve short-term political ends or ideological agendas. Yet, no matter how pervasive or aggressively pushed these falsehoods become, they share a fundamental flaw: they are fundamentally divorced from reality.

Against the weight of tangible facts and raw human experience, common sense remains the ultimate, defensible ground. Like daylight piercing through absolute darkness, reality eventually asserts itself over illusion.

Today, citizens find themselves bombarded with conflicting messages across every major issue facing society. Whether analyzing foreign policy interventions, shifting geopolitical dynamics, or domestic economic indicators, the gap between official rhetoric and daily experience continues to widen.

Nowhere is this disconnect felt more acutely than in the economic lives of ordinary people. While political leaders and commentators debate abstract figures, common sense dictates the reality at the kitchen table: high inflation, the relentless rise in the cost of basic groceries, and elevated energy prices directly impact everyday survival.

In the simple phrase, “it’s the economy, stupid,” common sense cuts through economic spin with inescapable clarity.
This same principle applies to geopolitical affairs and foreign policy.

When state actors and aligned media attempt to frame complex global conflicts—whether in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, or elsewhere—through simplistic, sanitized lenses, the broader global public increasingly seeks the unvarnished truth.

Propaganda attempts to sanitize the realities of conflict, obscure military setbacks, and manufacture consent for perpetual war. Yet, as information becomes decentralized, vast populations across the globe are able to look past curated statements to see the real human cost, strategic failures, and nuclear risks involved.

Common sense demands that we recognize the immense dangers of escalating conflicts and refuse to swallow recycled narratives of automatic triumph or righteous necessity.

We are beginning to see this practical awareness translate directly into political action. Across various primary elections and political contests, voters are demonstrating a growing skepticism toward traditional political machines, legacy power structures, and the overwhelming influence of money in politics.

Decades after momentous legal shifts like the Citizens United ruling—which dramatically increased the power of political action committees and foreign-aligned lobbying groups—the electorate is growing increasingly immune to high-budget campaign propaganda. Money can buy airtime, but it cannot permanently buy consent when voters apply basic common sense at the ballot box.

It won’t be easy or quick, but I do believe that the primary elections in 2028 will be the beginning of a new era for America, and the world. We are in the threshold of the doorway between the Age of Pisces, (the Age of Religions & Wars), and the Age of Aquarius, (the Age of Technology & Peace), an “Age” that I call, the “Beam me up Scotty” time.

Looking ahead, this groundswell of popular awareness hints at a broader structural and cultural transition. The traditional paradigms of global governance—defined by endless military spending, resource wars, and aggressive geopolitical rivalry—are proving unsustainable.

Trillions of dollars continue to flow into military-industrial complexes, even as pressing domestic infrastructure, technological potential, and environmental needs go neglected.

Humanity stands on the precipice of a necessary shift. Whether framed in astrological terms as a transition into an era of technology and peace or simply understood as logical human evolution, the alternative to collaboration is catastrophic.

True common sense dictates that major global powers—including the United States, Russia, China, and others—must eventually move past the era of endless conflict. In an interconnected world equipped with weapons of absolute destruction, the only sensible path forward is one where resources, technological breakthroughs, and human capability are channeled toward the collective benefit of mankind.

Propaganda can delay awareness, but it cannot destroy it. Lies require constant maintenance, vast resources, and perpetual enforcement to survive. Reality, by contrast, simply exists.

As people continue to evaluate the world around them using their own senses, experiences, and basic logic, common sense will remain the ultimate defense against deception—and the primary catalyst for a more peaceful, rational future.
